Terms & Conditions of Hire

Please read carefully. In using our service, you are agreeing to these Terms and Conditions.

 

Charges

  1. The standard hire charge is for 3 days – Day 1 collection/delivery Day 2 your event Day 3 delivery/collection. For longer periods please ask for details.
  2. The hire charge includes cleaning. However, all items must be free from debris otherwise there will be a 50% surcharge.
  3. Minimum hire order of £10.00

Payment

  1. For non-account customers payment by cash or cheque shall be required in full at the time of delivery or collection. Alternatively, payment can be made by bank transfer at a minimum of 3 days prior to delivery/collection. Payment by card in person can be accepted. There will be a 1.5% surcharge added to any balance. 
  2. We also require a separate deposit of at least 50% of the hire value against loss or damage. The deposit will be returned less any replacement costs if applicable. Please note any missing items, including boxes and containers, must be returned within 3 working days to ensure the return of your deposit.
  3. Proof of identity may be required. Please provide a driving licence and utility bill if required.
  4. All equipment remains our property.
  5. V.A.T. is not applicable.

Bookings and Cancellations

  1. Please book your hire as early as possible to ensure availability. A booking deposit may be required. Bookings can be made via phone or email directly
  2. If you need to amend your order please give as much notice as possible to avoid disappointment.
  3. No responsibility will be taken for any damage caused by hired goods. Particular attention should be paid to surfaces on which water boilers etc are standing. 
  4. The items on our website is not definitive as we hold stock not listed  Please contact us to discuss requirements                             
  5. Should you need to cancel the following shall apply:
    • a) Items delivered or collected will be charged in full
    • b) Items cancelled within 24 hours of the hire date shall be charged at 50% of the hire value.

Delivery and Collection

  1. There will be an additional charge for delivery and subsequent collection. Please ask for details. A minimum charge of £10.00p will apply
  2. The charge covers delivery/collection to/from a ground floor location.
  3. Delivery does not include assembly of any items.
  4. We require all items to be repacked in original containers ready for collection at the agreed time and date at one convenient location.
  5. Items not ready for collection will be subject to a further hire and collection charge.
  6. All shortages or breakage’s found by the customer upon receipt must be reported to us immediately.
  7. Deliveries left at unattended premises is at the hirers’ risk.

Lost and Damaged Goods

  1. The hirer is responsible for all goods from the time of collection or delivery until our staff checks them when returned to our premises.
  2. All lost or damaged items will be charged for at the full replacement cost. Substitute equipment will not be accepted.
  3. It is a condition of hire that our count at our premises is final as to both quantity and condition.
  4. We strongly recommend that you take out adequate insurance to cover all items during the hire period.

Linen Hire

  1. The hire charge includes laundering. However, should a second launder be required, then a charge of 50% of the item hire cost will apply.
  2. Linen must be returned free from debris and kept dry, as mould will damage the linen beyond repair.
  3. All linen damaged by fire, stains and tears will be charged for at the full replacement cost.

Electrical Appliances

  1. Items not working must be reported immediately and not touched.
  2. Please ensure adequate safety measures are taken. We recommend the use of RCD circuit breakers.
